We are looking for an experienced Cook to join Fantacity Restaurant

 

Position:  Cook (Permanent)

Hourly Wage: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (to be negotiated) (Overtime pay to be paid at 1.5 times regular wage after 8hr/day and after 40hrs/week.)

Working Hours: 40 hrs per week (Full-time)

Working Location: 1133 Robson St, Vancouver, BC, V6E 1B5, Canada

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation after 1 year of employment

Job Duties:

–   Prepare, plan and cook menu items and dishes

–   Determine serving sizes, calculate food costs, place orders for supplies and maintain food supply, and equipment inventories and records,

–   Inspect kitchen and food service areas

–   Manage and train kitchen staff in food handling, preparation, and cooking,

–   Manage kitchen operations and keep kitchen and work areas clean.

 

Qualifications:

–   Completion of college or other program in cooking or related discipline

or Several years of commercial cooking experience are required

–   English written and verbal communication skills required.

–   This position requires training staff.
