Overview

Job Duties:

1. Clean dishes, glassware and flatware
2. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
3. Scour pots, pans, and fryers
4. Keep records of the quantities of food used
5. Package take-out food
6. Portion and wrap foods
7. Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
8. Stock refrigerators
9. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
10. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
11. Handle and store cleaning products
12. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
13. Remove kitchen garbage and trash
14. Sharpen kitchen knives
15. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
16. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

Employment Type: Full time & Permanent

Wage: 15.00/hour

Vacation Pay: 4%

Hours of Work / Week: 40 hours

Requirement:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Experience as an asset
  3. Food Handling Safety Certificate
