Job Title: Restaurant Cook

Position Available: 2

Wage: $17.62 – $19.00 / hour

Work Condition: 40 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)

Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

Work Location: 5011 48 Ave, Delta, BC V4K 1V9

 

Job Duties:

– Plan, prepare and cook a wide range of Japanese meal

– Monitor food inventory stock and order if necessary

– Ensures Kitchen area, food storage and utensils are kept sanitary

– Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

– May supervise and train kitchen helpers

– Assist other cooks and perform related work as required

 

Requirements:

– Completion of Secondary School

– Minimum 2 years of experience cooking in a restaurant OR Completion of a 2-year apprenticeship program form cooks OR Completion of a college or other programs in cooking

– English is required
