Overview
Shoreline Foods Ltd. O/A Domino’s Pizza is looking for 2 Food Counter Attendants (NOC-65201) to join them as soon as possible. These positions are for a permanent, full-time (35-40 hours/week) basis with a salary of $17.00 to $19.00/hr. (depending on exp.).
Work location: Unit 105, 4871 Joyce Avenue, Powell River, BC V8A 5P4
Job Duties:
- Take customers’ orders
- Prepare food and beverages such as pizzas, salads, and other items as per customers’ preference
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- Portion and wrap foods
- Package take-out food
- Keep records of the quantities of food used
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
- Handle guest complaints and notify manager on duty immediately
- Provide timely, pleasant, and polite food and beverage service to guests
- Maintain sanitation of the work place including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
- Maintain awareness with menu and special items
Job Requirements:
• Some High School Education would be an asset but not required.
• Experience would be an asset but not required.
• On-the-job training provided.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks and attention to detail
Work Setting: pizza outlet with dine-in, pick-up and delivery services
