Overview

Ski Butlers is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team in Whistler, BC.

This is a permanent, full-time position; 35-40 hours per week; $26.00 per hour.

Duties:
– Supervise and coordinate activities of store staff (making sure they are comfortable with providing product recommendations, operating cash registers, arranging merchandise, keeping the store clean and organized, etc.);
– Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions and policies; Market research and vendor relationship development;
– Set up store display and ensure products are accurately labeled;
– Check and maintain inventory (purchase of new equipment, sale of old equipment and maintenance of vehicles); restock inventory as required;
– Provide customer service and resolve customer complaints;
– Hiring and Training development and planning;
– Torque testing all skis and products to ensure safe operation;
– Organizing inventory season changeovers; Assist with scheduling in order to keep the store appropriately staffed;
– May cover a shift if there’s a sick call or may perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required;
– At least one year of previous work experience in retail sales;
– Previous experience in supervising is an asset;
– English language ability is required.
