Specsavers is seeking a Store Manager in Vancouver. As the leading manager, you’ll partner closely with the store’s optometry owner and manage a team of Eyecare Consultants to deliver an outstanding customer journey end-to-end, surpassing customers’ expectations time after time. You’ll be responsible for overseeing, coaching, and developing team members on all aspects of product selection, sales techniques, problem solving and service standards.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed

Location: 716 West Broadway, Vancouver, B.C.

Salary: $35.00 per hour

Duties:

·     Provide exceptional customer care services in a competent, conscientious, and professional manner;

·     Build long-term relationships with patients;

·     Lead and motivate the team to achieve excellent technical standards;

·     Use key performance indicators to increase sales, minimize costs and maximize profits all while keeping in mind that our most important KPI is customer satisfaction;

·     Ensure that all orders and dispenses are as accurate as possible to maximize customer satisfaction;

·     Manage store operations and optimize business performance by creating a vision of success, handling potential complaints and grievances with care, analyzing management reports, and managing the day-to-day running of the store effectively.

Requirements:

Secondary school completion is required;
Must have completed a college or university program in business administration, optical sciences or a related field;
Minimum 2-3 years of recent work experience in retail sales related to optical sciences;
English language ability is required;
Solid knowledge of office procedures;
Business Equipment and Computer Applications, including MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
