Job Duties:

• Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures
• Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor
• Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
• Carry out winter snow removal
• Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, during all seasons

Number of Positions (if more than one): 2

Terms of Employment: full-time permanent

Wage/Salary: $19 to $20 per hour based on experience

Location of Work: Regina-Moose Mountain Region

Education Required: No Formal Requirement

Work Experience: The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of related landscaping and snow removal experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, during all seasons.
