Job Description:

Job Title: Food service supervisor
Employer: Sushi Loku Restaurant Ltd. dba Loku Japanese Cuisine

Work Location: 2280 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC, V5N 5P9

Business Address: Same as above

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Wage: $18.50 per hour

Benefit: 4% gross salary + meal provided

Hours of work: 30- 40 hours per week.

Vacant: 2

Language: English

 

Duties:

1. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of those who prepare, portion, and serve food.

2. Take, record, and resolve complaints from customers.

3. Record and report sales, waste, and incidents.

4. Track and order supplies required for food service.

5. Establish schedule of staff and manuals.

6. Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.

7. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

 

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required

Experience: One to two years experience of food service Or,

Completion of the community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant

management is required.
