Overview

Tamaru shoten Marketing Corp. (dba Suika Snack Bar) is seeking a Head Cook for their Vancouver location.

Permanent Full-Time, 6-8 hours per day; 30-40 hours per week; $25.62/per hour plus extended health and dental benefits after 3 months probation period. Bonus available based on sales performance.

Standard shift for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8:00am and 1:00am as required.

Duties:

– Prepare ingredients;
– Prepare sushi and other Japanese food items (everything on the menu);
– Supervise kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

– Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a professional cook;
– Japanese language ability is an asset;
– English language is required.
