Time International Academy is an educational institution specialized in providing quality tutoring services as well as professional academic consultation services to our students. We are looking for an Art Instructor who will be interested in helping students from each grade develop artistic skills and techniques but also express their interests and understandings through art. Candidates must have a keen interest in teaching and be able to motivate and engage students in their artistic and creative pursuits.
Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time
Working hours: 30-35 hours per week

Wage: $37.50 per hour

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in teaching students is required
Education: A university degree or college diploma in a field related to art

Plan class content appropriate to student abilities
Prepare materials for class use
Teach students the techniques and methods of drawing, painting, sculpting and other forms of artistic expression
Guide and assist to create strong art and design portfolios to meet different admission requirements of high school and post-secondary programs pertaining to both art and design
Demonstrate art techniques and support students to develop their own unique style and personality
Ensure safety precautions are observed when using materials and tools
Provide constructive feedback, support and direction to enable students to achieve their educational goals
Maintain accurate records of each student’s progress
Monitor inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed
Comfortable working with students of different levels
Ability to be flexible and dependable
Available schedule after school and during the weekend
