TRANSGLOBE EQUITIES LTD. with office address at Suite 100, 16421 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta T5P 4E8 is accepting applications for the position of  BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER  for their apartment buildings.
$23.00 per hour up to 40 hours per week, permanent, full-time.
Completion of trades certificate or diploma related to the job is required. 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience in maintenance is required. Ability to communicate in English is required.
Job description:
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirrt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems and contact trades person for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform minor repairs of appliances. Perform safety and security checks. Supervise other workers. Move heavy furnitures, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
