Job Description:

– Employer: Vancouver Career College (Burnaby) Inc. dba Campus Support

– Title: Administrative Assistant

– Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

– Wage: $ 25.00 per hour – $30.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

– Primary Work Location: 400 – 549 Howe St, Vancouver, V6E 0B6

– Secondary Working Location: 300 – 960 Quayside Dr, New Westminster, BC V3M 6G2

– Business address: Same as above

– Hours of work: 30 ~ 40 hours/ per week

– Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

Company’s Modular Flex Option Plan (such as group health benefit) / upon completion of 3 months probation

Job Duties:

– Receive and respond to daily emails from students, instructors, colleagues, and management.

– Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and messages.

– Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.

– Order office supplies and maintain inventory.

– Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.

– Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents.

– Arrange and coordinate regular or special meetings.


Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of secondary school

– Experience: Completion of a one- or two-year college or other programs in administrative assistant
at least 6 months of previous clerical experience for this position.
