Versatile Sewing is actively looking to hire 1 Shipping and Receiving Clerk, for a permanent, full-time position to work in our warehouse located at 700 Finley Ave Unit 11, Ajax, Ontario.

Versatile Sewing is a family owned and operated sewing and manufacturing business since 1993. We are located at 700 Finley Ave Unit 11, Ajax, Ontario.

At Versatile Sewing we use a variety of techniques to finish banners, our ultimate goal is to ensure your banners look beautiful and can withstand any weather conditions they may endure.

Over the years, Versatile Sewing has become a successful service in the print and advertising industry. We strive to consistently improve our efficiency, and overall quality of the work we do!

At Versatile Sewing we work as a team, loading and unloading skids loads of banners at a time. We operate out of a large industrial space with a large loading dock that makes shipping and receiving very simple.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following job tasks:

·       Handling heavy materials

·       Moving, loading, and unloading skids.

·       Preparing shipments (wrapping, loading, attaching paperwork and labels)

·       Preparing shipping documents (packing slips, delivery receipts)

·       Loading and unloading trucks

·       Maintaining loading dock and storage areas

·       Communicating with front office staff and customers

·       Cleaning and organizing (sweeping, emptying garbage receptacles)

Skills, Experience and Education Requirements:

·       Proper training will be provided

·       Secondary school certificate or equivalent

·       Experience is an asset

·       Experience with forklifts is an asset

Wage, Hours & Benefits: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, overtime pay after 44 hours per week. 2 weeks paid vacation.
