Overview

Visavis Design Co. Ltd. is seeking a Hairstylist for its Richmond, B.C. location.

Permanent Full-time, (40 hours per week) on shift scheduled six days a week (closed Sundays).
$18.00/hour, plus tips and commission.

Duties:

– Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair;
– Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour hair;
– Perform custom hairstyling for wedding, proms, and other special events.
– Analyze scalp and hair condition and provide advice on care tips.
– Perform custom scalp and hair treatments
– Train junior stylists

Qualification:

– Completion of a post-secondary or vocational training program in hairstyling, plus completion of a practicum program;
– Must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience if not in possession of formal education in
hairstyling.
– English language ability required.
