Looking for Pastry Chefs to join our team!

 

Job Title: Pastry Chef

Location: 1399 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6H 1B8 Canada

Number of Vacancies:2

Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Vacation: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation

 

Job responsibilities:

– Prepare and cook pastries, baked goods and desserts sold in Wicked Café

– Supervise all phases of pastry production and check the production schedule

– Manage day-to-day production within the pastry kitchen

– Order and manage inventory products and ingredients

– Inspect the cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment, and supplies

– Supervise and train other kitchen staff

– Create new seasonal recipes when needed

 

Qualifications and skills required:

– At least 3 years of experience in baking

– Completion of Secondary School

– College & Diploma in the related field is a strong asset

– Fluent in English
