Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Vacancy: 1 position

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $18.80/hour

Language: English

 

Main Duties of the Job:

-Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the tasks of personnel responsible for food preparation, portioning, and serving.

-Assess and procure necessary ingredients and supplies for food preparation.

-Set up work schedules and operational protocols.

-Keep records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.

-Provide training to staff regarding job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.

-Ensure adherence to quality control standards in food preparation and service.

-Participate in the recruitment of food service personnel and contribute to policy, procedure, and budget development.

 

Education Required:

Completed high school education is required

 

Relevant Work Experience Required:

Successful completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or a related field, or 2-3years of experience in food preparation or service, is necessary.
