Job Title: Server – food and beverage services

XO Bistro + Bar is a Vietnamese restaurant paying homage to home-style Vietnamese cooking, spotlight family recipes for noodle soups, spring rolls, grilled meat, banh mi, beverage, and many other classic dished. We are looking for a Server – food and beverage services to join our team located in the Downtown, Edmonton, Alberta.

Vacancy: 1 position
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: $18.20/hour
Language: English

Main Duties of the Job:

-Welcome and assist patrons by presenting menus and providing information on food and beverages.

-Take and communicate orders effectively to kitchen and bar teams.

-Serve meals, drinks, and specialty items directly to patrons at their tables.

-Manage billing processes, accept payments, and handle credit card transactions.

-Explain menu items in detail, offer recommendations, and document customer preferences.

-Ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment by transmitting information to the kitchen.

-Maintain cleanliness in the work area, ensuring utensils and tables meet hygiene standards.

-Proactively engage with customers, addressing inquiries or concerns, and ensuring a satisfying dining experience.

Education Required:
-No formal education is required.

Relevant Work Experience Required:
-On-the-job training will be provided.
