Overview

Yah Yah Ya Ramen is seeking a Head Cook for their Richmond location.
Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), $20.00/ per hour. Bonus based on Sales Performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9am and 10pm as required.

Duties:

• Cooking everything on the menu;
• Creating ramen soup bases;
• Inspecting ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation;
• Giving training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
• Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine;
• Japanese language ability is an asset;
• English language ability is required.
