Job Description:

Job Title: Food service supervisor
Employer: YELLOW MUG COFFEE INC. dba Waves Coffee House – Robson

Work Location: 211 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6B 0E7

Business Address: Same as above

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Wage: $18.50 per hour

Benefit:  10 days paid vacation or 4% gross salary for vacation remuneration

Hours of work: 30- 40 hours per week.

Vacant: 1

Language: English

 

Duties:

– Train new employees, assign job duties, and make sure that they follow the safety requirement

– Oversee and check food assembly before being served to the customers

– Order ingredients and supplies needed for meal and coffee preparation

– Keep records of stock, sales such as amount, and cost of meal and coffee served and wastage

– Prepare work schedules and evaluate work performance of employees

– Maintain service meet quality control standards

 

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school; AND

Experience:

Completion of community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related field

OR

1 to 2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required.
