YM Inc. is seeking a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Store Supervisor for their Urban Behaviour Surrey location: 10355 152 ST. , SURREY, BC, V3R 7C1
Compensation:
-Base salary of $24.04/hour
-Bonuses
-Extended benefits
-Two weeks of vacation per year
Primary duties:
-Supervise and oversee the duties of retail staff, including cashiers and sales team members;
-Assign sales staff duties, distribute staff schedules and organize and lead staff meetings;
-Train new sales staff;
-Ensure all inventory is correctly entered and presented;
-Ensure that sales targets are met through active promotions and sales tactics;
-Analyze and evaluate client needs in order to provide guidance on technical products;
-Ensure cleanliness of the store and health and safety measures are being followed;
-Maintain and build professional relationships with clients;
-Assist with design and implementation of product promotional campaigns and training modules.
Requirements:
-College diploma in Management or a similar field;
– Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in the retail industry;
– Be able to work under minimal supervision and have a history of demonstrating superior sales targets;
– English language ability (reading, writing, and speaking) required;
– Prior experience as a supervisor, coordinator, or manager in the retail industry is an asset;
