Job Description:

– Position: Cook

– Employer: 0743397 B.C. Ltd. dba Togo Sushi

– Work Location: 10355 152 St Unit 1382, Surrey, BC V3R 7C1

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $20.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Prepare and cook the combination meals and individual menu items, including tempura, udon, and teriyaki.

– Prepare sauces and soups used in menu items

– Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for special dishes.

– Assemble and prepare bento box.

– Operate specialized kitchen equipment, including deep fryers.

– Maintain inventory and records of food item such as beef, pork, fish and vegetables.

– Prepare and cook according to customer’s allergies and tolerances.

– Clean kitchen and work areas.

– Train and supervise Kitchen helpers

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of high school is preferred but not required.

– Experience: Minimum 1~2 years of experience in this field OR,

Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program or college program for cooks OR other programs in cooking or food safety.
