Job Title: Framer

Wage Offered: $38.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time & permanent

 

Language Required: English

Experience Required: 12 months of relevant work experience

 

Start date of employment: ASAP
Minimum Education: Secondary School
Position Available: 01

 

Work Location: Various client sites

Key Responsibilities:

– Read and understand blueprints, drawings and sketches;

– Determine work specifications and calculate required materials;

– Prepare measured layouts which confirms with building code requirements;

– Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wooden materials, lightweight steel, and other framing material;

– Work with structural skeleton erection, building foundations, installation of floor; beams, erection of walls, placing studs, and roofing work;

– Install doors, stairs, moulding and other hardware, as required by contract;

– Work at various residential renovation and repair contract sites;

– Supervise helper labourers at work sites;

– Any other relevant tasks and duties requested by the manager/ management.
