Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Wage: $38.40 per hour, 40 hours per week

Benefits: Health and dental; Paid sick leave; Complimentary meals (limited); 3 weeks paid vacation; We may provide periodic wage increases per industry standards and employee performance

Positions Available: 3 vacancies

Job Description: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Requisition food and kitchen supplies, Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation; Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Establish work schedules; Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; May perform same duties as workers supervised.

Supervision: Cooks, Kitchen and food service helpers

Languages:  English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Work Setting: Restaurant

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Attention to detail
