Location: 666 Island Hwy E, Parksville, BC, V9P 1T8

Positions Available: 1 (One)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: 24.04 hourly

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Full-Time

Job duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, organization, direction, control, and evaluation of operations for a restaurant, bar, cafeteria, or other food and beverage service establishments
Determine the types of services to be provided and implement corresponding operational procedures
Hire staff and oversee training and professional development
Create and manage staff work schedules; supervise daily activities and assess employee performance
Monitor daily operations and make improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
Track revenues to manage labor costs effectively and support financial decision-making
Manage inventory and supply levels; organize and maintain inventory systems
Adjust operational procedures and pricing strategies based on performance data and customer feedback
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain food, beverages, and other necessary supplies
Coordinate catering services and arrange facility usage for events such as banquets or receptions through client negotiations.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
