Job Title:    Restaurant meat cutter

Employer:   2329716 Alberta Ltd. o/a Cactus Corner Travel Centre

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, Day, Evening, Shift, Morning

Anticipated Start Date: November 2026

Wage: $20.50 per hour, 35 hours per week

Benefits: May provide periodic wage increases per industry standards and employee performance; Relocation costs (airfare) covered by employer

Positions Available:   1 vacancy

Job Description: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting; Cut carcasses, sides and quarters; Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat; Remove bones from meat; Cut poultry into parts; Clean and prepare fish and shellfish; Cut fish into steaks and fillets; Grind meats; Perform routine equipment maintenance; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Equipment and machinery experience: Manual cutting utensil; Power grinder; Slicing machine

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: No experience (will train)

Languages:  English

Work Setting: Restaurant

Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, Team player, Flexibility, Accurate

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:   Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods; Handling heavy loads; Hand-eye co-ordination
