Overview

Air Plus Hair Salon is now seeking two Hairstylists to join our team at Metropolis at Metrotown location. Wage: $18.00 per hour or up to a maximum of 40% commission, whichever is higher.

 

The position is permanent, Full time (40 hours per week) with shifts scheduled between 10AM and 9PM. 4% pay in lieu of paid vacation days.

 

Duties:

·      Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair;

·      Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses color hair;

·      Perform custom hairstyling for wedding, proms, and other special events;

·      Analyze scalp and hair condition and provide advice on care tips.

 

Requirements:

 

·      Completion of a post-secondary or vocational training program in hairstyling, plus completion of a practicum program;

·      Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience if not in possession of formal education in hairstyling;

·      English language ability is required.
