Position: Retail Butcher

Wage: $23.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30-40 hours per week

Number of Positions: 2

Benefit: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation as a vacation reimbursement.

Language: English

 

Job Duties:

– Cut, bone, and prepare standard cuts of meat and poultry.

– Grind and slice meat using powered grinders and slicing machines.

– Weigh meat, poultry to price label.

– Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats and poultry.

– Make sure food storage conditions are adequate at the required temperature.

– Manage inventory of meat records and determine amount, product freshness according to company requirements.

 

Skill Requirements:

– Education: Completion of high school is required.

– Experience: Minimum one to two years of experience is required.
