Job Description:

–        Position: Companion (NOC 44101)

–        Employer: Angel Heart Healthcare Inc.

–        Business Address: 103-4155 Sardis St, Burnaby, BC V5H 1K3

–        Work Location: Clients’ household within Lower Mainland, BC

–        Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

–        Wage: $24.50 per hour

–        Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

–        Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

–        Language: English

–        Vacancy: 1

–        Expected start date: ASAP

 

Job Duties:

–        Visit clients in their homes to provide companionship, care, and support.

–        Assist clients with basic hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

–        Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding according to clients’ dietary needs.

–        Provide basic health-related support such as reminding clients to take prescribed medication.

–        Perform light housekeeping duties such as washing dishes, doing laundry, and keeping living spaces tidy.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: No formal education is required but completion of high school is an asset.

– Experience: No formal experience is required, but related work experience is an asset.
