Overview
Anh Noodle Fusion Restaurant Ltd. is seeking a full-time Kitchen Helper to assist with food preparation, kitchen cleaning, and other general kitchen duties. The successful candidate will support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as instructed by cooks;
- Prepare ingredients and components of dishes according to recipes and instructions;
- Prepare tools, equipment, and supplies required for food preparation;
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and store food supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas;
- Ensure an adequate supply of ingredients and food materials for cooking;
- Place prepared dishes in designated storage areas and package take-out food;
- Assist with maintaining and preserving kitchen equipment and tools, and report any equipment issues;
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment;
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash; and
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a kitchen helper or in a similar food preparation position;
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is an asset;
- High school graduation is required;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks and standing for extended periods;
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask; Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Our menu features a wide selection of dishes, from Vietnamese steak and egg, spring rolls, and rice cakes with pork and lemongrass, to rice vermicelli with grilled pork, sautéed chicken with lemongrass and chili, and our signature pho, among many others. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and reflects the rich culture, tradition, and stories of Vietnamese cuisine.
The restaurant is open six days per week, from 11 a.m to 8 p.m, and has seating for approximately 30 customers. The restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment and is particularly busy during lunch and dinner service.
