Overview

Atlantic Medical Centre is seeking an Office Cleaner in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

 

Permanent Full-time, (30-40 hours per week), with two (2) three-hour shifts scheduled for the morning and the evening. Must be available to work between 7:00-10:00AM and 6:00-9:00PM, including weekends. Will only be required to work one weekend day per week.

 

Please be aware this is a medical clinic and you will be exposed to surfaces and medical equipment contaminated with human body fluids.

 

$17.00 per hour.

 

Duties:

·      Perform commercial cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces;

·      Clean and safely dispose of human waste, vomit, and blood, as required, from various surfaces and medical equipment;

·      Conduct preliminary cleaning of medical instruments in preparation for sterilization;

·      Maintain facilities by performing custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces;

·      Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues that arise;

·      Demonstrate excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames;

·      Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants promptly.

 

Requirements:

·      At least 6 months of previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is required;

·      Previous cleaning or custodial services in a health-care facility is an asset;

·      English language ability is required.
