Job Title: Nursery Labourer

No of Vacancies: 5

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, if required.

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.

Work Address: 14260 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC, V6V 1A5, Canada

Wage rate: $17.85 per hour, 40 hours a week

Education: Not Required

Experience: Training will be provided

Languages: No Language Requirement

Job Duties:

• Mix and prepare fresh soil for plantation.

• Plant new bulbs and seeds.

• Perform grafting for the plants and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings.

• Water plants and fields through sprinkler and irrigation systems.

• Prepare the plants, buds, shrubs for sale.

• Monitor plants for healthy growth and potential weed, insect, disease, and fertilizer problems in crops.

• Spray plants to prevent disease and pests.

• Clean the fields and surrounding areas.

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, odours, hot/cold.

Other Information: The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
