Job Title: Roofer

Location of Work: Various locations in and around West Kelowna, BC

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Employment Conditions: Outdoors, physically demanding, ability to work in various weather conditions. Must be comfortable working at heights.

Language of Work: English

Wage: $36.65 per hour

Job Duties

• Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
  Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials.
  Install sheet metal flashings.
  Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces.
  Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
  Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school.

Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience
