Farm Supervisor

Employment Terms: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours of Work: 40–60 hours per week. Schedule varies and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.

Work Location: SE 3-45-2-W5, near Bluffton, Alberta (Rural Area)
Staff accommodation available.

Job Duties

Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of farm workers.
Organize and assign tasks to ensure efficient farm operations.
Monitor the health and condition of livestock and identify health concerns.
Handle and care for cattle, including feeding and watering activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
Maintain livestock performance, production, and financial records.
Supervise breeding and other livestock-related programs.
Select livestock for sale and monitor herd performance.
Operate and oversee the maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
Hire, train, and supervise farm employees.
Ensure compliance with farm policies, animal welfare standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Employment Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant farm supervisory experience.
