Overview

Canadian Journey Enterprise Ltd. is a tour guide company providing touring service in Canada. We are now seeking a Tour Guide Supervisor.

Permanent, Full-Time position (30-40 hours per week), $27.50/hour (plus extended health and dental benefits after completion of 3 months probation period)

 

Duties:

Ø Supervise and co-ordinate work;

Ø Review tour guide manual from time to time, and update;

Ø Organize guide-training session;

Ø Assign tour guides when tour schedule is finalized;

Ø Provide tour guide services for any VIP clients or when requested by assistant manager;

Ø Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies;

Ø Prepare work schedule;

Ø Arrange for restaurants, optional tours and transportation;

Ø Perform tour guide duties as required.

 

Requirements:

Ø Secondary school completion required;

Ø Completion of a post-secondary program in tourism or a related area OR 2-3 years of previous experience as a tour guide;

Ø Supervisor experience is an asset;

Ø Driver’s License is an asset;

Ø Japanese language ability is an asset;

Ø English language ability required.
