Education: College Diploma or equivalent

 

Experience: 2 years minimum of ascertainable specific skatepark carpentry and concrete forming

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:

–          Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements

–          Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

–          Working on the Skatepark industry transitions, radiuses and common shapes on a Skatepark.

–          Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

–          Handle shotcrete tasks along with other team members.

–          Instruct apprentices

–          Supervise other workers

–          Maintain, repair, and other commercial establishments.

–          Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.

–          Expert about skateparks infrastructure.

 

 

Language: English

Wage:  CAD $36 hourly

 

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, work with minimal supervision

 

Work Setting:

Construction of Concrete Skateparks, Various Locations
