Job Duties / Responsibilities:

●       Unloading transport trucks

●       Using manual & electric pallet jacks, conveyors, & tote carts

●       Receive & count inventory, and make inventory adjustments as necessary

●       Sort inventory on stocking carts

●       Locate overstock in warehouse & distribute inventory to sales floor

●       Prepare items for warehouse return

●       Safe handling of dangerous goods according to WHMIS & health & safety standards

Requirements:

●       Full availability to work weekdays and weekends as required.

●       Standing/walking for 8 hours.

●       Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise items may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.

●        Possibility of working outdoors under various seasonal weather conditions.

●       Effective written and oral communication skills.

●       Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment that provides assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals.

●       Commitment to following and upholding safe work practices and health & safety standards in the workplace.

●       Experience in a similar role.
