Overview

City View Renovation Ltd, located in Surrey BC, is looking to hire 2 Ironworkers as soon as possible.

Duties:

Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Understanding detailed plans to accurately execute renovations.​
Demolition and Salvage: Carefully dismantling existing structures, preserving reusable materials when possible.​
Reinforcing Existing Structures: Installing reinforcing steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to enhance structural integrity.​
Installing Structural and Ornamental Metalwork: Placing elements such as metal stairways, railings, and decorative features.​
Handling Hoisting and Rigging: Setting up and operating equipment to move heavy materials safely.​
Welding and Bolting: Joining metal components securely, ensuring compliance with safety standards.​
Ensuring Safety Compliance: Adhering to local building codes and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirement:

Completion of secondary school is usually required.
Completion of a two- to three-year apprenticeship program OR over three years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college OR industry courses in ironworking are usually required to be eligible for trade certification
English Language
Wage: $34.62 per hour for 30 hours per week with overtime available after 40 hours per week.

Location: All over Lower Mainland and Vancouver (Depending on contract)
