Overview

Coastal Peoples Fine Arts Gallery Ltd. is seeking an Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations Coordinator to join their team in Vancouver.

 

Permanent, full-time; 37.5 hours per week.  Hourly wage of $36.60 plus extended health and dental, after completing 4 month probationary period.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·      Engage and process in gallery sales with clients.

·      Assess artwork to be promoted to determine marketing and advertising needs of an establishment.

·      Develop and implement strategies and related content for direct digital marketing and advertising campaigns.

·      Manage post-campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics for ROI opportunities.

·      Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing client reviews and inquiries.

·      Develop, implement, and evaluate client relations strategies and programs designed to inform clients and employees of initiatives and policies relating to Indigenous art, affiliated organizations in the tourism, hospitality, and corporate industries.

·      Processing online sales from social media, and advertising campaigns.

·      Oversee and prepare reports and proposals relating to inventory management.

·      Support in organizing meetings, events and VIP functions, and/or programs to promote newly acquired artwork.

·      Support in managing and archiving exhibition collections.

·      Collection management of highly collectible objects

·      Respond to written and in-person inquiries

·      Assist in coordinating and promoting exclusive gallery events for internal and external audiences.

·      Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material.

·      Managing and receiving incoming and outgoing wearable artwork

·      Participate in special assigned projects related to exhibitions.

·      Support the marketing and promotion of exclusive gallery exhibitions.

·      Merchandising the collection as well as providing administrative support duties relating to inventory.

·      Soliciting artworks to clients and processing sales.

 

Requirements:

·      A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, museology or cultural anthropology is required;

·      Demonstrated knowledge of the Indigenous art industry is an asset;

·      At least one year of previous work experience in advertising, marketing, and/or public relations is required;

·      English ability is required.
