Overview

Hiring a Night-Time Front Desk Manager

 

Qualification:

– A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or other related discipline is required OR Several years (2 – 3 years) of experience within the accommodation industry in supervisory position(s) can be substituted for an educational requirement.

– Able to work graveyard shifts including weekends and holidays.

– Proficiency in English is required for this position.

 

Main duties:

–        Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation of the department

–        Monitor revenues and expenses

–        Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies

–        Recruit and supervise staff, oversee training and set work schedules

–        Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions and other functions

–        Resolve customer complaints.

 

Wage & Benefits:

$37.00 per hour, 4% vacation fee of gross salary, On-site amenities, Hot Tub/Gym access, and an Employment discount rates to other participating Choice Hotels

 

Working hours:

30 – 37.5 hours per week (permanent & full-time position)
