Overview

Job Description:

– Operate CNC machine and perform programming tasks to create precise metal component
– Conduct welding operations to assemble metal structures according to specification
– Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts
– Develop patterns for sheet metal using computers and software package
– Operate computerized laser cutting equipment to cut sheet metal
– Installation of architectural sheet metal fabricated from various material using riveting, welding, soldering methods, and according to specifications
– Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
– Maintain quality control during the entire fabrication and installation process

 

Qualifications

– Class G driver’s license
– Language of Work: English
– Education: High School
– Years of Experience: minimum 2 years of sheet metal work experience

 

Other Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

– Based in Pickering, the person must be willing to travel through GTA and Ontario.
– Outdoor work environment, subject to all weather conditions
