Position: Restaurant Manager

Employer: COZEN JAPANESE CUISINE – M & C THE SUSHI CORPORATION

Work Location: 1441 Commercial Dr, Vancouver, BC, V5L 3X8

Business Address: Same as above

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $27.69 per hour

Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross pay for vacation remuneration

Job Duties:

•        Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

•        Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures and service standards

•        Recruit staff and oversee onboarding and training

•        Set staff work schedules, supervise staff, and monitor and evaluate performance

•        Control inventory, monitor revenues and performance, and adjust procedures as needed

•        Negotiate and manage arrangements with suppliers for food, beverages, and other operating supplies

•        Resolve customer complaints and inquiries

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

 

Requirement:

– Education: No formal education is required.

– Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in this field, including supervisory experience, are required.

– FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate is required
