Company: D-Lux Wood Shop Inc.

Position: Floor Covering Installers (including tile setters)- 2 Positions

Terms of Employment:  Full time and permanent position- 40 hours per week

Location of work: Calgary, AB

Wage: $28.00/hr

Job Duties:

Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Prepare subfloors and install underlayment and underpadding
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Measure, cut and install resilient flooring (vinyl plank, laminate, etc.) using adhesives and tools
Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools
Install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means
To install steps
Install stair treads, risers and nosing
Education: Secondary School completed

Skills and Experience:

·         Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience as floor covering installer

·         Ability to accurately measure, cut and install tile & flooring materials in customer’s home

·         Able to work independently with minimum supervision
