Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor (Golf Pro Shop)

No of Vacancies: 1

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day, Weekend

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.

Work Address: 11550 Ladner Trunk Rd, Delta, BC V4K 3N3.

Wage rate: $29.00 per hour, 40.00 hours week.

Education: High School is an asset.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous experience in Retail sector.

Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer as well as the first three months of medical insurance, if required.

Job Duties:
• Supervise operations which may include opening and closing of facility, ordering, and maintaining supplies, and cash handling.
• Supervise work of other employees and volunteers which may include preparing work schedules and training of new staff members.
• Sell Golf merchandise to customers.
• Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise.
• Assist with inventory controls.
• Assist with public relations and customer service by greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate records.
• Operate and assist with the management of the golf course tee sheet and point of sale system.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training.
