Directbuy Furnace Ltd. located at Unit 1140, 585 Seaborne Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC  V3B 0M3 is urgently looking for 2 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Mechanics (HVAC) to join them ASAP.

Wage: $39. to $48./hr. (depending on exp.)

Start date: As soon as possible

Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (min. 30hrs/week)

Work locations: Various locations in the Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and as per company’s contracts

Job Duties:

·         Read blueprints, drawing, specification and layout location point for installation.

·         Install and overhaul entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

·         Cut, measure, assemble, install air conditioning and heating components such as compressors, motors, controls, circulating pipes, condensers using hand and power tools.

·         Connect piping by using welding and brazing equipment.

·         Start the system and check leaks using testing devices.

·         Repair or Replace damage parts of air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump system.

·         Fluent in company protocol for timesheets, job pricing and invoicing and payment collection.

·         Proficient in the equipment brands that we rep. Understand how they work, complete applicable training and certifications, and work directly with brand reps on a regular basis.

·         Understand the company’s Preventative Maintenance Program and the pricing strategy for our subscribed customers.

·         Meet with customers to provide system design, perform layout and assist with pricing jobs.

·         Perform QA/QC checks on installations and equipment.

·         Commission equipment and perform regular scheduled maintenance as a part of our annual maintenance plans.

·         Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers.

·         Keep accurate and detailed service records.

Job Requirements:

·         Min. secondary school education is required.

·         Min. 3-4 years of relevant experience.

·         Must be functional in English.

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Satisfactory criminal record check

Skills Requirements: • Ability to work long hours, weekends and / or early mornings are required.
• Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions • Heavy lifting may be required at times.
