Overview • Language required: English • Education: Trade certificate/diploma or equivalent experience • Experience: 3–5 years  Work Environment • Confined spaces • Wet/damp conditions • Excavation work • Projects in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional settings • Relocation costs not covered by employer  Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications • Install, repair, and maintain water supply, waste, and drainage systems • Locate and mark pipe connections, cut openings, and join pipes using appropriate methods (clamps, couplings, soldering, welding, etc.) • Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges • Determine piping requirements and sizing • Prepare tenders and quotations • Supervise and schedule personnel, tools, and equipment • Train and instruct apprentices • Estimate costs and materials Supervision: 5–10 workers Credentials (any of the following): • Plumber Trade Certification (Red Seal preferred) • Backflow Prevention Certification • Working at Heights Training • WHMIS Certificate • Occupational Health & Safety Certificate • First Aid Certificate • Valid Class 3/D Driver’s Licence

Additional Requirements • Bondable (security clearance required) • Criminal record check and driver’s abstract required • Must provide own tools, safety gear, steel-toed boots, and hard hat • Physically demanding bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting heavy loads, working under pressure
