Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for 3 school aged children in Kingston for Nasirzadeh family. $18.00-$19.00 per hour for a 40-hr work week, salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday. Six months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Split shift-6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-8:00pm Monday-Friday. Job located in Kingston (Alwington Area) English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence. Plan, cook meals and feed children. Light housekeeping for children. Oversee children’s activities. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. Walk to and from school, activities, programs. Homework supervision.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
