Responsibilities:

  • Operate bag-making machines and supply equipment with the appropriate materials
  • Set up machinery according to the requirements of each production order
  • Measure sample products to ensure bags meet order specifications
  • Verify the quality and compliance of finished products at every stage of production
  • Detect defects in bags, identify root causes, and resolve issues
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and basic repairs on equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment in case of malfunctions
  • Complete production and quality reports
  • Inspect and verify the quality of produced materials
  • Relay relevant information about ongoing production to the next team
  • Explain completed tasks and key instructions to the next machine operator
  • Perform any other related tasks as required by operations

Required profile:

Professional Requirements:
3 to les than 5 years of experience in a similar position
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic mechanical skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical strength (able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs)
Basic math skills
Spoken and written proficiency in French or English

Skills and Personal Qualities:
Reliable, diligent, motivated, and hard-working
Attention to detail and precision
Team spirit

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Manual dexterity required
Ability to stand for long periods
Alternating between sitting, standing, and walking depending on the task
