At Fisher Coating we work hard and play hard. Most of our team members enjoy the typical Squamish adventure activities outside of work, so we keep a tight 645am-245pm Mon-Fri schedule to allow for plenty of time to play outside in the afternoons, and on the weekends!

Our work is indoors, so you’ll keep warm and dry in the winter months. There is also plenty of room to grow within the company, and potential for other positions available in the future. We are willing to train anyone with the right attitude and work ethic, as the culture of our work environment is key to us. We currently have an awesome staff that like to be active together outside of work, and / or have a Friday afternoon wind-down together before the weekend. Above all else, keeping a safe, efficient, positive, and enjoyable work environment matters to us.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

·         Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment

·         Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.

·         Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials

·         Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks and to store and retrieve materials in warehouses

·         Operate conveyors and equipment to transfer materials from transportation vehicles to other areas

Skills Requirements:

·         Heavy work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

·         PPE required- Steel toed boots/shoes

·         Must be punctual and reliable – We work on a production line so every position is necessary and important.

·         Wear protective equipment such as hard hat, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, and safety glasses.

·         Safety conscious

·         Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and equally motivated working independently.

·         Self-motivated and dependable with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Education Requirements:

·         Completion of high school or equivalent experience.
