Wage: $27.7
Benefit: 4% vacation renumeration or 10 days paid vacations

*Job Duties*
Design and create programs to meet children’s physical, intellectual, social, cultural, creative, and emotional needs.
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Maintain and update the individual record of children handled taking note of the daily routines.
Develop early language development using approved subjects in storytelling, role-playing, games, music and art activities.
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet routines.
Provide care and supervision for infants and toddlers under 36 months of age.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers working with children.
Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their children’s development needs and learning process.
Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers
Knowledge of licensing regulations
*Job Requirements*
· Education: A two- to four-year college program in early childhood education or a bachelor’s degree in child development is required for this role.
· Experience: Previous experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
· License:
– Early Childhood Educator Certification is required.
– Infant and Toddler Certification is required.
– First Aid and CPR Certification is required.
– Criminal record check, immunization records.
