Gaurika Foods INC in Victoria is looking for a Full-time position for one Retail store supervisor to assist in running our new and growing business and could join immediately.

Location: 10-4144 Wilkinson Road Victoria, BC V8Z 5A7

Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Positions Available: 1 (One)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $ 25.00 per hour

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Job duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
Plan and prepare work schedules and assign sales workers to duties
Operate cash registers and authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
Sell merchandise to customers
Check merchandise to make sure it’s correctly priced, displayed, and meets quality standards
Replenish the sales floor
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortage
Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed
Monitor and prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Hire and train employees to use equipment and complete job-related tasks such as using the
cash register, greeting customers, and handling customer complaints
Evaluate employee performance and identify areas to improve
Maintain store health and safety procedures; Make sure the store is clean and organized.

Skills and Education:

1-2 years of related experience

Completion of Secondary School
